Mom found out I was inside her and she was really going to have a baby! You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. PSALM 139:13 How mom found out she was pregnant: I had been feeling sick to my stomach for two weeks. I thought it was IBS. I was getting up late at night & early morning feeling sick. Everything I ate did not sit right. A week after I was supposed to get my time of the month, June 6, 2006 I was feeling nauseas. I decided to buy 2 pregnancy tests. Andres thought I was crazy. As soon as I took the first test, it was positive. I did wait the 3 minutes without telling Andres. Then we both went to look at it together & it was true. Andres was too shocked to react. He demanded another test (hanging chads?) and so two days later, I retook the test & then it sunk in. Later that next week, we went to my doctor to confirm. We received the first sonogram. We also decided to wait until Father's Day to surprise everyone. I was excited!!! And Dad learned he was going to be my daddy! How dad found out: These are my early photographs

These are my most recent shots at 19 weeks. At the top you can see my long fingers waving hello to you all. The bottom two pictures are 3D images. In the second I am covering my face with my hand (I am camera shy). The bottom picture is a side profile. I have my mouth open, a tiny nose, and big eyes. My face looked just like daddy's when he found out I am a girl!!! |
